Stairway Foundation Inc. and the Department of Education Learner Rights and Protection Office (DepEd LRPO) have successfully concluded the Child Protection E-learning Course for Educators. The course’s significance lies in its use of online platforms to provide educators with a comprehensive understanding of child protection concerns.
A total of 6,615 Licensed Professional Teachers (LPTs) completed the course and received 15 Continued Professional Development (CPD) Points from both the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) and the National Educators Academy of the Philippines (NEAP). This accreditation supports professional development for educators and ensures that learners receive quality education and protection.
The course is designed to address various child protection issues that arise both online and offline, recognizing the critical role that online learning plays in education. The Child Protection E-learning Course for Educators is an innovative approach to learning that leverages online platforms to provide educators with the necessary knowledge and skills to protect learners online.
Given the increasing importance of online learning in education, the Child Protection E-learning Course for Educators demonstrates how online learning can deliver high-quality education and ensure that learners are protected online and offline.
