At Stairway Foundation, we are committed to protecting children by providing quality education and training on children’s rights, Child Sexual Abuse Prevention (CSAEP), and cyber safety. Through our e-learning platform, we offer accessible and engaging courses that feature animated films, interactive quizzes, and practical resources — all designed to support child protection actors, as well as children and youth, in building safer communities.
We’re pleased to share the results of an external E-Learning Study recently conducted as part of the Global Program to Stop Cybercrime Against Children in the Philippines. The findings are encouraging and affirm the value of our work: over 21,000 individuals, including teachers, social workers, police officers, and community leaders, have completed our online courses. Of these, 98% reported applying their learning in real-world settings, and 95% noted improved skills in responding to Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) cases.
Beyond individual learning, the program has helped enhance psychological readiness, foster community advocacy, and support policy improvements. It has also strengthened collaboration with key government partners, including the Department of Education (DepEd), the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), and the Philippine National Police (PNP). As we move forward, Stairway Foundation will continue to work closely with these agencies to co-develop tailored versions of the platform and expand our reach through stronger partnerships with civil society organizations, both nationally and internationally.
